1. Argentina. I lived there for 3 years, from ages 10-13, and that's were I first learn the game even existed. It was also the only sport I had any playing ability. They were ripped off in their game against Germany, where a penalty was not called when Maxi was tripped in the area, but was yellow carded for 'diving' instead.
2. USA. It's were I was born, and where I live, and so I can't help but hope they do better in 2010. And in 2002, they fell to Germany in a similar fashion that Argentina did in 2006. Once again, a penalty was decline by the referee, this time on a hand ball infraction.
3. Wales. I can trace my heritage back on both sides of my family to Wales. They can beat anyone, if they team is healthy and everyone is in top form. They should have been at Euro 2004, but the Russians beat them in their playoff matches. Dispite using an ineligible player in one of the matchs, EUFA declined Wales' plea for Russia's disqualification.
