About a month ago, I had a very vivid dream in which I was having a miscarriage. I'm female, 46, and never been pregnant.

I woke up very shaken, disoriented, very sad and disturbed. Usually my dreams are okay to enjoyable.

By the end of that day, I seemed to be over it. But later that week I got a letter from my mother saying that my nephew's wife had just had a miscarriage.

I am still confused and ill at ease around all this. I emailed my mom back about my dream, but she never mentioned it in later conversations. I come from a family who, if it's uncomfortable, usually sweeps it under the rug.

I'm guessing you've had a nightmare recently? Is that why you've asked?

I've had many of those. For some reason, they have all been happening recently. I once had a nightmare that I was out for lunch with some friends and all of a sudden the ground started shaking and the walls in the building we were in started cracking and separating. Non of my friends got scared or even started getting out of the building. In my dream, i was near the beach so i figured that since we were so close to the ocean, a tsunami would hit us in a couple of minutes, I ran outside and for some reason, i was in this really high building that overlooked the city. I could see the huge waves starting to cover every single part of the city. I kept running and found a brick building on the street. The weird thing is that i decided to run into that building and when i opened the door, i walked straight into the bathroom and sat in the tub. I kept trying to call my mom and boyfried because they both work near the beach and i wanted to tell them to get to higher grounds but I never got any reception. all of a sudden i hear a thunder-like sound and see water seaping through the bricks in the wall and right when the water was about to crush the building, I woke up because my dog started barking at something outside. I wonder what wouldn't have happened if my dog hadn't woken me up. Strange, isn't it?

Yes. A LOT. But I haven't had any recently. However, i DO have one to share with you.
There was this one nightmare where I was in the middle of nowhere. But the place looked like "Stonehenge". Me and my friend were there. Then, a huge white bull appeared in front of us and chased us. To make the story short, I had to run for my life 'coz the bull was after ME, NOT at my friend. I had to go through dangerous obstacles like climbing up chains, facing a scary semi-naked Hindu guy, stepping on metalic thorns barefoot. Gawd. It was just horrible! But now that I think about it, it's kinda funny.

I didn't wake up crying or anything, but I was pretty scared. I dreamed that I was following a serial killer around - he couldn't see me - but I saw him killing other people. The police couldn't catch him because his father WAS the police. That was scary.

By the way, I researched parts of the dream, and apparently I dreamed this because of some "deep-seated" anger I have for someone. Don't know who this is.

I had a dream one time that my neighbor's fence was the gateway to hell. I wandered over there, like you do, and I peeked through one of the holes and saw blood and fire. Suddenly the ground started to turn into lava and I had to jump onto the fence - i woke up immediately-that was over 15 years ago and I still remember it, freaky. I've had one dream that's made me cry and that was when I dreamt my husband hated me and decided to go find another woman.

Yesterday, I was napping and I had a dream that I saw my mother fall from a tall building and die. It was terrible, because I saw and heard everything, and by the time I got to her, she was trying to talk to me, and then she just died. My four-year-old son was with us in the dream, holding her hand... I woke up TERRIFIED! Now I'm worried about my mom, and I keep thinking about it. It was so real in the dream that it's almost like I experienced all of this in real life... So, yes. to me, that was terrifying.

i had, and had more than one, but i won't tell u about it cause it's not the words that makes a nightmare a nightmare, but the feelings u have during it. u will c that telling ur nightmare to others won't impress them as much as it did impress u.
