Most of the reason that people think that Jesus was white comes from many of the great paintings of Jesus from the Renissance, where people thought that Jesus was white because they were white, and since most people didn't really see people of other races very frequently back then, and when they did, they viewed them with distrust. So they saw him as white, and the whole thing just stuck.
However, from a historical standpoint, Jesus was more than likely Arab or probably black. But since nobody made a picture of him, there is no way to be sure.

It's a misconception borne out of the artwork that depicted a fair skinned, blond, blued eyes Jesus. The fact is that no one really know as there's no written description of him, but it stands to reason that as a person indigenous to the region where he lived, he'd have had darker skin and hair.

Frankly, it doesn't really matter what color or ethnicity Jesus was, it's just a point for people to argue because they have nothing else to do.

I know where you're coming from......hey, maybe he wasn't..........I also know how hard it must be to be black in what seems to be a white person's world.

Black role models? Not too many huh? Kind of like you cannot be part of the club unless you're white.

I'm not black, but I suffer from a different kind of prejudice. Then again, I might be way off.......
