how do I make my microphone pick up what I say during Yahoo Messenger? I've already tried the jacks. Nothing.

Make sure the microphone is plugged in correctly. If it's not, then it's not really Yahoo's fault. Next, try making a voice conference with the contact you'd like to microphone speak with. Make sure you press the "Talk" button while talking. You may have the microphone plugged into the wrong place. If you believe that's the issue, see if you can record your voice on "Windows Movie Maker". If your voice doesn't record there, either, then it's plugged in incorrectly. If it *does* record there, then it's something you're doing on Yahoo! Messenger, or a fault of the messenger.
