Besides being part of the title of a decent James Bond movie (1983's Never Say Never Again), you should never say never because you cannot in the real world guarantee an absolute. That is, if you dig hard enough there is always an exception, hence the reason you can eliminate "always" and "never" on multiple choice tests and why word problems often say "other things being equal".
