Is he not very smart or does he not like to study? If it is the latter then it may be a waste of time/money. Then again, he may mature and realize the benefits.

If he wants to go to a good college, do a Comm. College program where you go there for 2 years and then transfer. He has to keep his grades satisfactory though.
