A healthy diet would do it. There isn't really just one vitamin that would work although vitamin B, E and calcium will help keep your hair and nails strong. Hair and nails are simply dead cells. A healthy diet will keep your body working as it should. You could take multi-vitamins to help you get all the minerals and vitamins that you body needs on a daily basis.

Vitamin E of course, but I would also recommend taking vitamins on a supplemental purpose only - try eating fish (not fried, but baked or grilled). Vitamins have a tendency to stay in your stomach and not be dissolved enough through your GI tract; but eating foods will get you enough of what you need.

Ur hair and nails depend on calcium to grow. But u can eat gelatin and that will encourage growth also.

Take a pre-natal vitamin! they are the best for helping with hair and nail growth!

GNC or any local vitamin shop will have what's called the Hair and Nail formula. Try it, it works - my sister has had great success with it. Good luck!

Vit. C and E. Both avaialble in Chyvanpras, a herbal antioxidant of ayurveda. Mahabhringraj oil is also a good choice for hair.
