I got married last October. Everything was great, he was wonderful, loving, caring, etc. I moved in with him, he had bough a house a year before and had purchased 10 acres. Only 2 acres is tied into the mortgage. I sold some of my stuff, gave other things away to my family, his family, etc. Pretty much gave up everything, soon after he switched jobs from a welder to a car salesman and our financial struggle began. He was not making any money and I began supporting him and us, months later-he quit and went unemployed for a while (not even putting forth an effort to try to find a job) I continued to support us, working over-etc. Then he got another job at another dealership and the same thing happened again- he quit and was unemployed again In the past month everything has fell apart-he'sbeen distant and hateful, and admitted to cheating on me with a customer at the 2nd dealership. He says he doesn't care about me, or anyone but himself-now he

in this same period has gotten a job and has began to work vigorously so he is going to be getting his $ situation under control soon but now I'm having to leave my home and everything because of what he has done and I'm financially screwed because I've been supporting him. In divorce I know in IN you pretty much get what you came into it with so technically everything we have is premarital for him, how can I not lose my house, my land, everything I have and not get any money at all to help me find another place and live going forward when he has pretty much used me during our marriage? Does anybody have any ideas, or know of any legal tid bits? Thank you!

if you want to keep the house and acres... I would sell Acres and then keep the house and show the lawyer that you have been paying on time each month that he need to move out and find other place to live becasue.

You gave up everything in your stuff and your life for this man. and Now he quit welding that like 50 bucks an hr. and he can't go back and work? and yeah he pretty much use you all the Finance and I think you have the right to have the house and make sure he will need to pay the i forgot where he have to pay for you for long time.

Get a good lawyer and expect this to go on for a while. Some divorces can take a year or more. It depends on where you live and the divorce laws there as to what you are entitled to. Divorces are hell, Good luck.
