I too have irregular periods. I wanted to have a baby so bad too. We tried for about 3 years with no luck. I figured something was wrong with me but I was too afraid to go to the doctor. I finally gave up all hope and just quit stressing over it. I went on a diet and drank lots of water and started taking vitamins and 1 month after I got married... BOOM I was pregnant. Didnt know either because of the late periods, found out I was pregnant at 4 months a long! I just gave birth to my little girl 6 weeks ago. Don't give up hope, when its meant to happen it will happen! If your not afraid to go to the doc like I was... Then go... they will help determine whats up with your periods or possibly put you on birth control to straighten your periods out for a while. Best wishes and don't give up hope.. believe me.. it happens when you least expect it!

buy an ovulation test. you can only get pregnant when your ovulating. Depending on what time your period comes in the month, it's usually 7-10 days after your period so wait until you have your next period and then buy one. It shouldn't matter that you have your period every 3 months, because I was always irregular and I got pregnant by using an ovulation test

Wow your period is very irregular. The best advice I can give you is to buy an ovulation detector. This will tell you when you should be ovulating and the days you are most fertile. There isn't much you can do. Try seeing a doctor and finding out what your options are.

You should try a fertility thermometer. If you are having a period at all then that means you are ovulating. It's just figuring out WHEN you are ovulating that is the trouble. A fertility thermometer will alert you when there is a small spike, and by small, I mean immeasureable by other thermometers. You will need to take your temperature several times a day until you find it. When you DO find it, go do your thing. Your fiance will need to be on call and drop whatever he is doing when it's time. Hope that helps.

My friend was the same, she has 2 boys. The doctor put her on the birth control pill, this regulatated her periods. She went off the pill when she was ready to conceive and she got pregnant shortly after. So don't be afraid, you will get pregnant.

You can still get pregnant. Most woman have irregular periods. As long as there is an egg in there to be fertilized, you can still do it just fine. Just have unprotected sex. You'll see.

first things first you need to see an ob and get a checkup A period every 3 months is not normal. you need to be having a period and ovulating regurally. Then maybe your ob if he can't fix the problem he can refer you to a fertility dr.
