Not sure what you're asking exactly...

You also neglected to mention what OS (Operating System) you're using such as Win98, XP, etc...

Anyway, *IF* your computer can *see* the device connected to the USB Port you can run files from it just like any drive actually installed in your computer.

*IF* it can't *see* the USB device you most likley need a Driver for that device for your particular OS. Check the device's manufacturer's website for drivers
