Halo: Combat Evolved -- With a great story and tight controls, it completely revolutionized the genre. The jump in quality FPSs after 2001 happened for a reason.
Super Mario Bros. -- The first game I ever played is still on my "Most Played" list. 'Nuff said.
Metal Gear Solid -- One of the most intriguing scripts ever written. It also revolutionized Stealth/ Action games.
