Einstein has worked round that subject. Basically; if you could move faster than light, you would be able to catch up with the image of you that has left earth ten minutes ago. So if you could move faster than the speed of light, you would be able to look in the past. But you wouldn't be able to change anything, as what you will see is only a perception of reality (if you get what i mean).

Einstein said that it is impossible to move faster than the speed of light. He wasn't able to prove it, but he said this:
E=mc², if you move faster than the speed of light, your energy would be higher than the E in E = mc². So if the E goes up, and the c is a constant number, the m, your mass, should increase.

Einstein said that if you would move faster than the speed of light, your mass would grow enormously. So that would be impossible.

But scientist have now proof that there are particles called tachions, who travel faster than the speed of light. So basically, those particles are able to look back in time!

I hope I gave you something to think about...

well, the human is always traveling across the time, to the future of course. If you mean, the humnas will be able to travel across the time in the past?... I could say, Could be, the time isn't lineal, how?... The time will answer us ;)
PD: The human can go to the past... with the memories.

Lots and lots of people have predicted it.

As far as I know, no one has convinced many people that it can happen, nor done it.

But it sure is fun to think about it, isn't it? And the only way new ideas come about is by thinking about the old ones in new ways, so keep it up.

dr. stephen hawking has a few theories about it. he basicly says that if a person is capeable of reaching the speed of light he will break through the space time continum. me myself. i think it is impossible to travel to the future. the past sure. the future no. how can you go ahead to what has not happend yet?
