I live in Miami and need something with a calender, email, and text but I don't want to purchase a seperate phone to use for minutes.

Try getting all of the phone companies you are thinking about and compare service, prices ect. to see which one is best for you. Also T-mobile rocks.

I have a razor with cingular and have had no problems. The service is great. I had a sprint phone before and it was absolutely the worst service. I had dropped calls all the time. Many times people who tried calling me couldnt get through it sucked. I would recomend cingular but you will need to get a new phone. If you dont want to buy one look into some of their plans, many come with a free phone, although the free phone may not come equiped with all the features you want. Also be careful, you may have a contractual obligation with sprint and may have to pay a fee for early cancelation.

We had cingular, until they dropped us, since we were out of the area, but anyways, we tried T-mobile, and we couldn't get no service at our place and we use it quite a bit at our place, so we tried verizon, and they rock!! We can go to my husband's parents and still have service, where we could NEVER do with cingular.
Oh, by the way, we live in Ohio, but Verizon is the best! Just get a good phone and don't take the cheapest phone from them is what I'd advise though!

I switched from Sprint to Verizon and have been very pleased

I have cingular. And i actually dont like them, despite all the commercials of not having dropped calls or "fewer dropped calls". They actually have a lot. I rarely have a conversation longer than 10 mins without having the phone call dropped. I couldn't tell you who to go with, i'm sorry.

I have been VERY pleased with Cingular. I swtiched from T-Mobil which was also very good. But I think sprint is horrid.

stay with sprint and just buy a new treo 750 and renew your contract with them. cool phone

I say T-Mobile but definitely DO NOT go with Nextel, they will screw you big time.
