In humans, the allele for albinism is recessive to the allele for normal skin pigmentation. What is the probability that a child of a mother and a father who are heterozygous will be albino? Explain how you got your answer.

Good if two heterozygotes mate.. The likelihood is 25% for each and every of the homozygotes and 50% for the heterozygote. The heterozygote and the homozygote for traditional dermis pigmentation will probably be usual, and the heterozygote will lift the allele for albinism. So 2 out of three have the recessive allelle. So sure 66.666.... Or 67%. Your right :)

nicely if 2 heterozygotes mate.. the threat is 25% for each of the homozygotes and 50% for the heterozygote. The heterozygote and the homozygote for commonplace pores and skin pigmentation will be usual, and the heterozygote will carry the allele for albinism. So 2 out of three have the recessive allelle. There is a 25% chance that the offspring will be albino. If you draw a punnett square with both of the parents, whose alleles are both Aa and then fill in the boxes, you get these results: AA (normal), Aa (normal), Aa (normal), aa (albino). Since only one of the four combinations is albino, then there's a 25% chance.

Well it a simple punnant square situation, if both parent were heterozygous for albanism, then there is a 25% chance that the child would be hypomelenistic (albino). If even one of the parent were homozygous dominant (which most are) for regular skin pigmentation, then there is no chance of albanism in the offspring.
