Since I was kid I have found perspective helps. Will this problem effect today, tomorrow, next year or the next 100 years? When you are in traffic would anyone in the other cars think your problem is a big deal? When all is said and done will you be okay? Is this problem hurting people? Will this problem end up on the news? Will this problem change people's opinion of you? Will you remember this problem the rest of your life? As for stress, remember to breathe, have calm thoughts and be optimistic. Prayer is very stress reducing. Trust that things will work out and when making choices in life anticipate consequences of your choices. Your life will become less stressful and you will handle stress better. Did you know smiling releases chemicals in your brain that help relieve stress? Also, remember other people have problems, too. Good luck!
