first take off the seat... then hop on & start riding . . when possible go off some curbs for fun. Just kidding. You gotta start out on grass & treat it just like learning to ride a bicycle . . pads etc once you are on the sidewalk... you WILL crash until you have practiced & get it down. . .but just like a bike . . it will become easy in the long run. Good luck & dont forget to keep your arms out to the sides for balance as you start.
