school is good like the other person said. Having a job helps. Have kids make friends with soccer moms and dads. If you have a religion go worship. Lots of good people there. If not try joining a club, rowing, model air planes, yacht club (don't need a yacht) sports clubs, Investment club, elks club, Kaunas club, local clubs, school clubs, boards of directors of organizations/businesses, adopt a highway, become a 4-H leader, Girl/boyscout leader, Big brother/Big sister, Paws with a Cause, American Kennel Club, buy a horse and join a riding club. I think you get the idea.
You have to be a friend before you can get one though.

When the right friend comes around, you will come over and greet him and welcome him to your place and always make sure that he or she never overstays his welcome when coming to sleepovers, birthday parties, barbecues, and even on bar mitzvahs, if you are Jewish!!
