I am only sixteen but it seems that I am so unconfident and I have a very low self-esteem,how can I be confident like before?I remember being the most person to be out there,but now I am just shy and just wanting to hide.I look beautiful:Like a model,but I feel different.Thanks for the help.

I'm the EXACT same way. Just believe in yourself and hold your head up high. Tell yourself you are beautiful every day in the mirror.

I understand. I was the same. I am nearly 40 with four children and I and about t 115 lbs. I Looked great and felt bad. But I pray allot. Some people think because your features are good that you have no problems;when you do, or they assume that you think you are better than others; when you don't. The way I over came this sorry emotion is to write things down about me. I folded the paper vertically and one side contained positive information and the other was the negative, calculated each side and if the negative was shorter I began to work on changing them to place them on the positive side. When that was done I took a look in the mirror to focus - not to look the way i feel but to feel the way I look. Found some positive things to involve myself into and now I am emotionally OK.

Start out small. Don't work yourself up over trying to talk to the 'cutest guy in class' or something... just try to make friends with someone you don't usually talk with.. someone nice. When that works out well, you'll have more confidence to talk to people. Soon you'll be able to say anything to anyone. Good luck.

Remember : At this age, these are common changes. So this is not weird.

Start engaging yourself in sports. Sports give you the kind of confidence that you can rediscover yourself. Any good sport will do.

honestly. .. dont concentrate on your looks and appearance so much! its only part of you, there are other parts too. I find if im down then the best way of dealing with it is not to think about myself, meet with friends, laugh, take the dog for a walk, do things for other people. You are beautiful, you know it now go enjoy your life!!

Always think positively. Believe in yourself, feel confident and don't feel shy ever. Try to do things with confidence.

Keep thinking you are beautiful but don't seem conceited because that's not good and focus more on the things that you do like about yourself and the things that everyone compliments you on, ie. your eyes or hair. Hope I helped and good luck.

When you get up in the morning,and you are getting ready for your day,take a moment to look in the mirror and say "I love you and you are a wonderful person,any one should be blessed to have you in their life"Don"t let mean people get you down,and try to stay away from negative people.....
