Definitely. It never hurts to verify anything you find on the internet, but overall, Wikipedia is Pretty Freakin' Awesome.

I think alot of people have leaned on it as trustworthy in their quick research. In two of my college courses, we were told that if it wasn't in the text book, look it up on wikepedia. So far, the things I have found and checked have been very accurate and thorough.
I would say yes, but nothing in life is %100 trustable.

im a student at NYU and several of my teachers were praising wikipedia and saying that we could rely on just like any other encyclopedia. (using it for academic purposes) I think its because people who write on it are knowledgable and serious, and misinformation is not tolerated because knowledgable ppl find it and correct it. You know how many ppl post on it? if there is a mistake, someone knows its a mistake. Plus they have a staff to make sure the info is right. Anyone can edit info but not many ppl waste their time posting lies, or if they are wrong, someone corrects them, or you have different viewpoints. I love that website!

It is trustrable, however, it's the internet and I believe that people are allowed to submit info to be added to the Wikepedia links. However, they're usually verified before posted. So I do believe the Wikepedia is a good source, the amount of info on there is crazy.

You can trust it to a great extent. Wikipedia is not by any means infallible. Consider running research topics through multiple sources before you list it as a fact.

While I have found most of it pretty reliable, keep in mind that it is written by anyone in the internet community and that means it can and will be subjective. My suggestion is to double check your information with other sources if you need to be accurate and/or accountable.

It can be, but you have to careful. A lot on information on the sight can be unverified, completely false, or based merely on opinion. If you're going to use the info, I would try to verify it with another source.

It's actually more reliable than you may think. The mods do a really good job of checking for unverified details. I think I read somewhere that it's more accurate than the Encyclopedia Brittanica.

For the most part, but take all info gained from there with a grain of salt.

It's okay for if you're not serious about 100% reliable info. Be sure to check their sources, though. It was written largely by amateurs.
