I'm obsessed with Chanel.. .
everything about this label is classic... true elegance.. I love the sunglasses, rarely wear any others..
and as far as makeup goes, its some of the best I've tried... their mascara is the best overall for giving you full, long and gorgeous lashes! the colors they have compliment any skin color.. and just using the powder gives you great coverage...
anything chanel will always make you feel glamorous and like a million bucks!

Like with almost every brand, not everything becomes automatically great just because there's a big name...(by the way, did you know that "Bourjous" (if you're from the US, I don't know if you know the brand...) is made in the same place?)
I LOVE their nailcolors - they are brilliant, harden quickly and come in amazing colours (just think of rouge noir...)
Their liquid eyeliner is great too, it lasts forever...I'm not a big fan of their perfumes, they're to heavy for my tastes...
And if you're looking for eyeshadows, MAC does the better ones by far! Their skincare is great to look at and smells divine, but I'm not too convinced whether the stuff really works... I tried out some of their creams, but they don't seem to do more than any other brand (I prefer Clinique for skincare...not so much fuss...also the very classic Oil of Ulay (with SPF) works just fine...)

The bags are very good quality leather. That's all I can vouch for, considering I don't have a closet fulll of designer products. They will be good quality though because that's part of the reason why you pay so much for them: they use the best stuff in their products.

personally i love chanel but im not a huge fan of their cosmetics. i especially have problems with their eyeliner and mascara. i would recommand going to sephora and asking about the different products but don't go to CVS to buy your makeup because i use to and my face ended up in not so great shape and when i switched over to paula dorf, other sephora products aswell as MAC i realized the difference.
