I would simply go to the local store and get some BUG SPRAY.

Put all of your dishes away, and start away from your kitchen and work toward the water sources. Then leave your apartment for an hour or two.

If you repeat this procedure in about a week, you should see some improvement. But ask your neighbors to do this too.

Certainly, you should not live like that, but you can take matters into your own hands.

Never leave standing water in the sink. Make sure that the facet doesn't drip. Do the dishes right away. Make sure that all of your cereal and open boxes get stored in sealed containers. Either Ziploc bags or plastic containers. Clean up and make your bathroom dry too. Try to make your apartment boring for these bugs.

Good luck

My house was infested when I bought it 2! So i know the feeling....before we moved in I bought bombers for EVERY room, one for each bathroom, bedroom like i said every room, removed all outletcovers and lightswitch covers so that the gas will some what seep into the walls and open all cabinets. I followed up with laying boric acid in the corners of cabinets and along the crevices in the kitchen and bathrooms ( with kids and pets you may want to omit the acid in visible areas). The acid comes in a plastic bottle with a narrow nozzel so I squeezed the nozzel in the open areas around the outlet and lightswitch openings(safe) because this is where they travel back and forth. Lastly wash the outlet and lightswitch covers or replace, clean away traces of droppings with part bleach, and back it up with roach motels. This worked wonders for my home. I bomb the house monthly and wipe away the boric acid and relay it often to keep my home pest free. And like the others said keep food in sealed containers and wipe up all crumbs or any spills or mess immediatly, remember you live in an apt. your not the only one infested but you may be one of few fighting it. Good luck! you can get all of these products at Home Depot or Lowe's.

First, make sure your house is clean. Then, put some boric acid in every corner you can think of. The roaches will walk thru the stuff and then lick it off and it will kill them. Go online and look up "roach balls". They are made of sugar, shortening, onions and boric acid. Keep these balls in your cabinets and nooks and crannies. They are a food that roaches love. Our home stays roach free with these balls. Once in a while you will see a roach run out and fall over dead. It will take a while for you to get rid of an infestation.

If you don't have kids or pets, make sure all your food is locked in airtight containers, then get some boric acid...any home supply store like Home Depot has it. It's cheap & a powder...you sprinkle it along baseboards & the back of your cabinets, etc.-roaches eat it, track it back to the rest in the walls & die. It's a poison, so it can't be used near kids or pets. Otherwise, invest in a couple of Raid fumigators; they're great. Follow the directions.

Go here: http://www.perma-guard.com/

and get Diatomaceous Earth. Theirs is food grade so it is not harmful to you, kids, pets. It will, however, kill anything with an exoskeleton. That includes all bugs. That includes roaches, fleas, ants, and all the annoying things that mess with your vegetable garden. They have a special formula that is made just for your needs. Buy lots and apply as often and as long as necessary. This stuff will do the job if you follow the directions.

Roaches are completely nasty creatures that are known to carry and spread several diseases.

Roaches are after food, so you may want to try and clean in those areas. Wet areas, so check for leaks. If they won't come then you need to call the local town official. Its not legal to have your landlord ignore your requests to get rid of pests.

my sisters house she bought was soooooooo fun of roaches the extermenators refused to do anything.......we took some combat jell and put in each room and she has no roaches at all now....the hard part is you can not kill them they have to take it back to they're nest they were all gone with no traces ever again but if you have neighbors i suggust you do it once a month in apt buildings or they might breed back.trust me it does work wonderful.............

Enclose all food items in sealed containers and make sure there are no wet or moist areas in your home. Wash all walls, floors and counters; don't keep dirty dishes in sink.

cockroaches will go elsewhere to find food
