The best way to get on CNN is to be an American in a foreign country and whine and cry about something. It is a guaranteed way to get on the evening news and make millions of Americans feel very sorry for you and pour thousands of dollars into a relief fund for when you get back home so that you won't have trouble adapting back to your plush lifestyle that you always felt you deserved. Sorry, I am with you on this. I am tired of watching people moan and groan when bad things happen. America would never have made it through the great depression if all they did was sit around and moan and complain. It is enough to be frustrated and upset at your circumstances, but do something about them, don't gripe on NBC nightly news!

There is no American alive today who knows what it's like to live in a country at war. The last ones to know lived during the Civil War.
So yeah, they are a bunch of whiny crybabies who should thank their stars that somehow the Bush government got it's act together and got them out of there. Think of all the people in New Orleans after Katrina hit last year - they weren't as lucky.

With jam , Please !!
The STATE DEPARTMENT warned them, they didn't listen and now they get a free , luxurious ride on a troop ship .
Just like real MARINES , bunks stacked 4 high, 18 inches apart.
Lets not forget the Cuisine on the mess deck , mystery meat and gravy, S.O.S. , and the ever popular Monkey in a can, yum yum .
Recreation ?
50 laps around the flight deck , push ups , sit ups , what more could they want?
Lets not forget the ride out to the ship, the scenic view over the side of the Landing Craft, jammed in A$$ to belly button, the salt spray in the face and the gentle rocking of the waves.

coming from the same dink who slams ALL mothers on welfare and whines about the weather forecast, that's rich....uhm..these people are probably pretty stressed out. Let's call it an inappropriate reaction to an inappropriate situation, use a little compassion and common sense and perhaps try to help the planet heal...this attitude is part of the problem, judgemental hater. People like you are a dime a dozen...what are you going to stand for? Don't talk about what you don't know about until you have walked a mile in those moccasins.

The question I have is, who in their right mind takes a vacation near a country at war, and brings along their children? And why vacation in a country that is run by Hezbollah?

Yeah, anyone who whines should be left behind, because they obviously don't have a good enough baseline of life experiences to know what real hardship is.

No kidding, they should be grabbing the Marines and Sailors and kissing their butts in gratitude for stepping up and saving their sorry asses.

Yeah, if I was one of those guys I would be happy to be alive, obviously they aren't going to let those guys starve to death. I don't know maybe we should let them starve to death maybe it will teach them not to cry like a little baby.
