If you have gas pains and don't know what they are, it is better to ask than to waste a trip to the doctor. New mothers get nervous about every little thing and then, again, it is better to ask here than to bundle up the baby and take it to a germ laden clinic for the doctor to say it wasn't necessary to bring the baby in. Now, if the question is about cancer, they should go to the doctor immediately.

because today there is a medication for everything with side effects that are worse than the condition itself. people are always seeking other options than to go to doctors that will give them anything just ot make a buck.

Some people have had experience with symptoms others have had and they are just sharing. Most often if you read the answers the person does suggest that they see a doctor.

webmd.com is a great place, but i like to read these questions for my amusement. Judging by the intelligence of the questions they may not be smart enough to comprehend the danger in asking uneducated people medical advice.

It is a bit worrying, espically when you see people asking questions about their baby's.
But I suppose if its not an emergancy and your just looking to see if anyone else has experianced the same thing then hey ho!
