yes, of course you can. but there are risks. there may be a company policy against it and you could be risking your job.
if the romance doesn't work out things could get very uncomfortable at work and someone feels like they have to leave the job. i think many folks meet their mates at work. just don't talk about the relationship at work until later (like if/when you move in with each other or get engaged). keep it secret from other people at work for awhile. at least a few months. don't want to be office gossip fodder.

would definately check company policy first, and then if you really like this person, go for it. I was very skeptical of dating at my work, but now we have been together for seven months, and love eachother very much. You have to be prepared and have a professional relationship already developed, that way if the personal relationship doesn't fail, you can still maintain the professional one.

I don't see why not, but if you go further than dating and things get more serious, you might find there is too much togetherness.
I have been married for 21 years and I wouldn't want to work with my husband. We wouldn't have anything to talk about if we worked to together all day and go home. I enjoy hearing about his day and telling him about mine.

I say weight the percentage of if it will work out and go with the one with the most weight.
I would only do it if my odds were like 90% it would work out. The mess you could get into is quite high if it doesn't work out.

do you see him everyday and do you interact with him everyday? if so, then, maybe it's not a good idea. ppl will talk about u all the time. if u work with him, but not all the time, then, i guess it's cool.

It's really not a good idea, if you break up later there is an awkwardness every day.
