I'm not to familiar with american slang, but i overheard some guys saying that i had a ghetto booty. What is that? Like a fat butt, or saggy butt. Isn't a ghetto like a run down neighborhood, so would that mean i got a run down butt?

The people who use the American slang phrase "ghetto booty" use it in a positive way to say that you have a plump, well-shaped a$$--IN THEIR OPINION. It is usually a phrase used to describe the a$$ of African-American women--hence, the phrase "ghetto booty" drawing an association between American blacks and the ghetto.
On balance, though, it is usually not a good thing to the society-at-large because to most whites, for instance, it generally means that you have a fat a$$ which is more often appreciated by African-American men and not white men--white men more often than not prefer women with slimmer, more model-like figures.

ghetto literally means a rundown neighborhoood like you said, but a lot of people say it figuratively to mean something good...its a complement...sort of
