Yes he can hate his wife, and for the other poster this could be the right category if she is a lousy cook.

Some husbands do hate their wives, just as some wives hate their husbands. There are a lot of people who get married out of obligation to their respective partner, rather than attraction. The obligation can range from a familial arrangement to someone saving the life of the other. Now if either are the case, there may not be an opportunity to get to know the potential spouse before marriage and if the spouse can't cook, then there's a major problem. The way to a loved one's heart is through their stomach. So simply put, yeah. A husband can hate his wife.

well i know a wife can really get mad at her husband.. but i guess you can hate your wife, but before you go so far as to hate i think i would just leave the home and go somewhere else..there should not be hate between someone that you once loved...

No, a husband can never hate his wife. Once he starts to dislike her, she ceases to be the woman he loves, and becomes simply another collection of particles called a "human being." It's tragic, because he just lost the other half of his soul.

Yes, thats possible. In fact it might even be healthy. Coz the opp. of love isn't hate, its indifference. If the husband starts feeling indifferent towards her then its a cause for concern.

Anyone can hate anyone.
But probably what makes us responsible, sane adults is whether we go on a murderous rampage, or do something healthy, like get counseling or talk it out. Or get a divorce.

Yes, afraid so... Sometimes people grow in different directions which causes friction and sometimes that turns to hate. I hope hate hasn't led to violence, take care of yourself.

Yes, he can. And vice versa.
But neither spouse should ever hate the other. If it gets to that, the marriage is doomed.
But since you posted this in Cooking & Recipes, please don't invite me to your house for dinner. I don't want to know what you are contemplating killing & serving.
