i came off the pill at the bigining of this month and i was wondering how long will it take for me to get my next period. i came off it cos i had to take medication for the first 2 weeks of this month and i want to go back on when i have my next period but how long will that be??

Well I'll start by saying there are some very rude people on here. If you cant help with an answer... Don't reply at all!!!.
Anyway I'll start now...lol
When you stop taking the pill most people experience there cycles to be very irregular, as it takes a while for your hormones to get back to normal again.
So it is a guessing game I'm afraid.
You could have a period when you are normally due, then again you might not have one for a month or so.
If you are worried or need more help have a chat with your doctor. See what they advise you to do, and when they advise you to start taking the pill again.

it can take between one month and a year to get a period, your body needs time to get used to the change in you hormones.
see a family planning nurse is concerned.

My best suggestion would be to ask the Dr. that prescribed your pills and your medication.

why didn't you just carry on taking the pill alongside the medication? it is not good to confuse your body by being on it then off it then on it....
