probably depends on your local zoning ordinance. without specifying where you live it's going to be hard to say.

but either look up your local county department of housing/zoning online and see if they have the zoning ordinance posted there, or go to the local county office and ask to see the zoning ordinance and the comprehensive plan map.

that should tell you everything you need to know.

I don't know of any AREA that is required for a single bedroom. What is required is an exit. You must have a window that meets the minimum size for a fire escape, in your area. Usually that is 4x4. It is known as the bedroom being "conforming", if it has the window. Good Luck

depends on what the layout is office?, house? arpartment? condo? mobil home? trailer? RV? Cabin? etc.i need more info about the location and city? all have codes.
