I think Bush has used the word "terrorist" as a word for anyone who doesn't like americans or the american way. In retrospect, these countries we are invading and end up killing innocent people must look at us as "terrorists". Come on, not everyone thinks the way we do or do they want to change their moral ideas and values to ours. And "democracy and freedom" that we are saying we are trying to give them. Is this how democracy is spread, by force, killing, and subversion. If you ask me, the US is a prime example of absolute power corrupting absolutely. Funny thing is that the US are such strong allies with countries like Saudi Arabia, yet these countries, including US, seem to be the ones that are the most danger to the US, yet we go and invade Iraq since our government has scared the hell out of our people. The US needs to mind their own people, and take care of them, rether than dictate how the rest of the world should be. So, the word "terrorist" is a label used to put a death warrant on anyone Mr Bush and his cronies don't like. Why do so many people believe this fool!?

Any way you look at W-A-R, its not a pretty sight, no matter where it is, or what the reason is. BUT, Israel has been taking CRAP for too LONG, they need to start fighting back..... So dont try and confuse the term & call it "terrorism" because its NOT. You do the study in History, and you will find that ISRAEL has just cause to fight back, and gain some respect from their "neighbors"!!!

The US has done absolutely NOTHING to be attacked, 9/11 is a prime example of what "terrorism" really is!

Why is everyone blaming Israel? Lebanon is the one at fault. The website that you have displayed is biased towards the Lebanese point of view, therefore its not all that accurate. True, there are casualties and stuff on each side, but come on. Look at the issue from both sides, then come to your conclusion.

Why is it you show these pictures.....and not show the pictures of the dead children, families in Israel, from missiles that have no tracking advice at are just shot in the air, and hope they hit the town they are aiming at? War is horrible, no matter what side you are on....at least be honest with yourself, and no that those pictures can be duplicated from the Israeli side of the border.....

Israel has defended itself against what is effectively the unofficial army of Lebanon, who has repeatedly attacked Israel from Lebanese bases.

Israel has set forth two very simple and reasonable requirements to stop the fighting. (1) Return the hostages. (2) Stop lobbing rockets into Israel. Hezbollah and Hamas flat out refuse to stop attacking Israel. So Israel is forced to defend itself.

In Hezbollah, we have a self-acknowledged terrorist organization who has vowed to wipe Israel off the face of the map, who is daily targeting Israeli civilian targets with rockets and missiles, and who uses among Lebanese civilians as shields by preventing them from fleeing the area of conflict.

Granted, it's a tragedy. But name any country out there that is going to allow a hostile enemy force to fire rockets into their cities every day without responding.

A terrorist is someone who uses hatred and fear to attack civilian targets, intending to cause as much civilian damage as possible. That definies Hezbollah and Hamas, which deliberately go after civilian targets just to cause fear and terror.

Israel is going out of their way to AVOID civilian causalities, by notifying Lebanese towns where they are going to strike. It's Hezbollah that's preventing the Lebanese civilians from reaching safety. Name any other country out there that warns targets before they strike.

Israel has tried the cease-fire option before, numerous times. Hezbollah and Hamas just come back and attack them again and again and again. Israel has no choice but to put an end to Hezbollah once and for all.

And since the government of Lebanon isn't willing to stop terrorists from firing rockets from Lebanese bases, Israel has no choice but to invade Lebanon, since that is the only way to get at Hezbollah.
