Have a huge market in my area for residential cleaning service, but no one offers a natural or toxin free approach to cleaning. I am thinking that since the products are less expensive I could really be competitive in this huge market. How many people know that environmentally safe products exist, and how many who would be interested in the products have a cleaning lady who doesn't use them?

I personally think that's a great idea. I'd suggest using that in your advertising -- set yourself apart from your competitors. That would appeal to anyone but I can see that being especially appealing to customers with children.

Associations may be a good avenue to explore as well. These organizations will address many of the thoughts, questions and concerns you'll inevitably have as well as many you haven't anticipated yet. See the source box for some relevant links.

Hope that helps! I wish you much success & happiness in all your ventures!

I think that there's probably a huge market for environmentally safe cleaning services and you'll probably do well. We buy all environmentally safe cleaning products and if I could afford a cleaning person I would appreciate if they did as well and would consider that a huge boost when choosing a cleaner. Good luck.

People that have enough money to hire someone to clean their house really don't care much one way or the other. It's not something they really want to have to think about.
