What are the applications of Fourier series in Computer Science/Engineering?

Alot of times it is easier to work in the frequency domain than the time domain. You do this all the time in DSP. While DSP is typically thought of as an electrical engineering discipline, I found that computer scientist/engineers that understand DSP tend to do better. Mainly because they understand the hardware aspect along with the DSP.

Application of Laplace transforms or Fourier series are usually found in discrete signal processing or signal & systems. so u can search for it using these two applications.. wish u best of luck
