I am currently 23 wks along in my third pregnancy. All three pregnancies have made me miserable. I am sick the whole time. There are several things I've tried that help. First, you can try sucking on hard candy, pretty much anything except mint. You can also use Tums or Rolaids...both are completely safe. You can also try a medicine like Zantac...again, completely safe. A lot of the time our nausea is caused by too much stomach acid, so the Tums and Zantac may work. Also, eat something small every two hours. If you keep food in your stomach, the acid won't bother you as much. Good luck and hang in there...I know exactly how you feel!!!!!

oh yikes, I remember those days. All day. The best thing to do is drink plenty of water. I found that I felt worse the more dehydrated I was. Stay away from certain smells that make you sick, you know the ones. Mostly your hormones are all over the place, If you are in your first trimester, it usually leaves by the third month, if not talk to your doc. Theres really not a lot out there to help.
People suggest crackers, in the morning. Try and eat a light breakfast. My doctor prescribed Phenergan, but any antiemetic should work

I am 15 weeks pregnant with triplets and I was going through this just last week, finally I had tried everything. I'm over it now, but I would suggest taking Unisom tablets (not the gel capsules) at night it will help with sleeping and morning or all day sickness. My doctor told me that its safe to take, but make sure you get the tablets not the gel capsules. If that doesn't help call your doctor and she should be able to to get a some medicine called in to the pharamacy.

Preggie Pops (available online or some maternity stores) or Zofran. Zofran is available from your doctor for nausea related to morning sickness. I lived on both during my pregnancy. Then again, I was soooo sick that I was in the hospital 4x in 6 months and lost weight instead of gained from excessive vomiting. Good Luck and Congrats!

Hi there! been pregnant 3 times. I have not had all day morning sickness so to speak. I was told to eat saltine crackers . For some reason this seems to help settle the tummy ! I wish you the best in your pregnancy and Good Luck!

I was sick all day everyday during my whole pregnancy and nothing helped. It was so bad I only gained 12 pounds during my whole pregnancy and never looked pregnant. Just try to eat things that are light on the stomach like fruit and salads it will help alittle. crackers help alot of women. I know what your going through but when you hold your beautiful healthy baby for the first time you will relize it was worth it.

I was sick all day everyday too. The only things that helped me were the doctor prescribed Diclectin, which helped a lot. I also drank a small amount (one bottle throughout the whole day) of Gaterade to keep myself hydrated and to replenish the sugar and electrolites in my body. Other than that, sleep helped too.

Go get a book called " what to expect when you are expecting". It's the pregnancy bible and will help with all these questions. Your question as well as many others that you would not expect is in there. It's excellent in describing all of these little things that worry moms and help distinguish when something is "normal" or not.
Good Luck!

I hate to tell you this because I know how much it sucks but I was sick for my entire pregnancy. The way to make the nausea lesson was that I would drink hot lemonade - not too sweet. It worked really well.
