One's belief in God should not be based on whether God answers their prayers or not. I think thats a fundamental misunderstanding of the nature of God that a lot of people have. Sometimes God will answer your prayers, and other times He has a different plan for you than yours. I believe that so long as one keeps true to God and lives their life as best as they possibly can, God will care for them and make sure they get what they need in this world or the next.

Yes ma'am, I do believe in God!!
This is a great question by the way. Very controversial. I noticed that more people DO believe then DON"T.
I myself have a hard time understanding how God can exist. But I do believe in God still. Science is all true, but science doesn't explain many things in The Bible, such as Jesus walking on water. I do not believe the whole Adam + Eve thing though. I believe in evolution. Adam + Eve were made up because we couldn't explain where we came from!
I believe science is the truth, but the truth can be bent!
God tries his hardest. He can't answer everything, because there is so much evil in this world!
There is good and evil. God is the promoter of good, Satan in the promoter of evil. I do believe in God, but I also believe there is Satan. But we must stick with God. God can't control everything, because Satan is controlling evil things. We must stay on the good side!
I believe in God!!!!! You should come too...

I do not believe God exists. Either way - praying is pretty passive. You hope that something will happen - but it never does.
If you want change, you will have to do something. Take action. Talk to your parents. Tell them what you have observed and that it makes you feel awful. Ask them to stop fighting when you are around to hear. Ask them to go get help by a professional family counseller. This is active not passive. That will help!
Good luck.

Hi, lots of people pray for a lot of things and they pray to their own various "god or gods". I once prayed for an answer to why a friend of mine died. I prayed to jehovah, jesus, zeus, odin, mohummad, buddah, and all these major beliefs. I never got an answer. But it is now 20 years later, I've known lots of people who have died in the mean time, and that previous hurt, the death of my friend, gave me an experience, and after time, I learned from that experience to gain a perspective. Now when people close to me die, I can deal with those deaths.
So to answer "do I believe in god?" Yes I believe there is a greater power out there somewhere, who I don't know the name of. AND I believe that these experiences that cause us so much heartache have been given to us to help us to create our own identity. We, you, can choose how you deal with the heartache. You can choose alochol, like I did, silly watse of money and brain cells, you can choose drugs, I wasted way too much time and money on that garbage, you can seek help from various churches, or community health in the phone book, or your GP, ( a local doctor - this can be paid for by medicare, or whatever- let the doctor know your situation and he / she will help you sort it out ). There are also other web sites available for kids, but I haven't taken much notice of them since I'm older now.

It does no good to pray for something that doesn't exist inside of you.
Instead of praying for your parents to stop fighting, pray to have the ability and strength to deal with it.
Whether or not God exists, if you seek answers within yourself, you will always get what you ask for.

Yes, there is a lot of misery in this world but guess what...God didnt create that misery, WE did. I not only believe in God , I put my life in God's hands cause I know that HE has the ulimate say in my decisions. HE will stear me right. I'm sorry about your parents fighting, truely, but remember God helps those who help themselves. Your parents have to take the first step in healing.

Yes I believe in God. I am a christian and I get what you are saying about how you pray and nothing changes but... you need to remember that life is on gods schedule not ours and just keep on praying and if you go to church go to the youth pastor and talk to him or her ... they always have really good advice.... But yea. The advice that I would giveyou is just get involved with your church youth group ... and talk to the youth pastor about things like loosing faith and stuff.... it is really common you just gotta be sure to kepp up the faith.

As for it from all your heart....Do something for someone that you've never done.... for example, buy a homeless a meal, help someone accomplish something,,,,, but remember you have to believe in it for it to happen....
And yes I do believe, and everything is a give and take on this earth.
If you ever feel lost and need to find a solution to something, pray to Saint Antonio and he will help you find what you're looking for.
