ijust want something basic, small cute (cause i'm a girl!) and only need to hold about 1,000 songs, no pictures and all of that.

That's the mobiBLU DAH-1500i. It holds only about 500 songs for the largest capacity version, though.
It's a little cube that's 1 inch all around. It comes in black, pink, silver, and blue. Wal-Mart is your best bet to find it.
For more storage, the Samsung YP-Z5 is basic. Silver and black. Music, photos, nothing else. It comes in 4GB, about 1,000 songs, for $250.

go to creative.com and look at the zen micro it has 4, 5, or 6 GB the 6GB is only $200 and it only has music and it comes in 10 different colors.
