Yesterday I read in a post about how to get rid of Kobolds...it was posted by Rogue Wyndwalker and stated "...I tried something once that suggested that if you think a faerie has stolen something of yours you can write the name of the Faery Queen on a piece of paper, fold it up, and put it under the leg of a chair. State out loud that you will not let her free until you find what you are looking for." My husband couldn't find his wallet yesterday and I belive that we have faeries or Kobald's at my house so I wrote "Faery Queen" on a piece of paper and stuck it under the leg of a stool. I stated that I wouldn't release her until we found the wallet. 2 minutes later we found it in a very unlikely spot that we had already checked. I went upstairs and release her but not knowing what else to do with the paper I threw it away. We left. When we came back the garbage was spred all over the living room. Could it have been the faeries? We have two dogs but they have never done this before.

The sheet of paper that I wrote on was missing from the mess.
My dogs are 6 and 2 years old and this was the first time ever that they got into the garbage.

What should I have done instead of throwing her away?

it sounds like it was the fey to me. maybe u should have thrown the paper outside. i don't invite the fey in my house for that very reason. if u haven't ever invited them in they can't be in your house but it does sound like it was them. just leave shiny things out for them(change, crystals, old jewelry you no longer wear) and they should leave your stuff alone. it's a good thing u didn't burn that paper!! good luck.

So say, "I release you, Faery Queen, and I apologize for your inconvenience." If you believed in it enough to start a spell, why did you stop in the middle? Just for your own conscience, apologize and make nice. And don't make deals with entities you don't know. Faeries, angels, demons, credit-card companies you see on late-night TV, whatever.

I think I would've blamed it on the dogs too! Next time try leaving the 'queen' on the table or maybe a spot in the garden when you leave. Leave a note with her,I would try asking them not to take important stuff!

I bought a jar of mayonnaise and later tripped over a snail. Could the two incidents be related, it has never happened before though I have bought mayonnaise many times.

if you have a flower pot near by, place the piece of paper in it. make sure the there is plant in there. faeries like flowers, so that's kinda of a nice way to let her go.

yes most definably the work of faeries! next time i would be a tad kinder to the wee ones and maybe leave food and drink for them and they would not be as "playful" and hide your things.

Yep, you said that you'd release her, and instead you threw her away, so she told the dogs to trash the place. I think that next time you should ask her to help instead of trapping her. I think you've learned your lesson this time...

I believe it was the fey. And they are probably still a little sore over it. You might want to make amends by offering food and drink to them outside.

sounds more like a pixie but then again, faries can be very protective and tempermental! so it might have been! pixies would have already driven you insane! you should have just left the paper somewhere fully exposed. then there would've been no mess! take my advice!
