Yes,out having drinks with my girlfriends a very nasty, dirty, drunk man walks up to me to say what beautiful hair I have, before I had a chance to thank him,he had grabbed a large handfull and buried his face in it. I think after that I'm the one who went over board, and my girlfriends and I are not aloud back in the bar,can you believe that!!!!!LOL

Compliments are actually political in nature. They allow us to move higher up the social order because a compliment appeals to ones self serving nature. Therefore a person complimented by us is more inclined to help us out the next time we need it. Compliments that don't seem right are again designed to feed a self serving nature. These compliments are designed to manipulate a person into doing something that the complimentor wishes you to do. Don't fall for it, if it doesn't feel like a compliment, it isn't. It's a manipulation tactic.

All the compliments that I get seem annoying and overboard, no matter how simple. I don't accept compliments gracefully.
