who watches this, what makes it so popular, how many of them are there, it's seems to be on all the time. i think it's a government thing meant to numb us or get us used to seeing all kinds of murder and stuff like that. anyone with thoughts on this.

Just the Vegas one here! Grissom is the reason. I think there are LOTS of other shows out there that do much more to desensitize us than this one does, not to mention the movies. Please!! The science fascinates me, personally, but then I've always been a bit of a science geek.

My husband and I watch Las Vegas and New York and its not a gov't thing...its just a very good show and ppl like watching that sort of thing...its a mystery/who done it type of show

I don't know about the govt being involved, but it does desensitizes us a little. I watch the original, but not the other two. It is popular with me because I like crime dramas.

A Very Intelligent show, with great plot twists, and it helps that the lead guy Grissum is HOT looking too!
