Israel stays pissed off.
It appears Israel misses few opportunities to use her US taxpayer provided military hardware to terrorize her neighbors.

They allowed a terrorist group to occupy land along their southern border for the sole purpose of attacking Israel.
But Israel is not pissed off at Lebanon. Israel is pissed off at the terrorist groups Hezbollah and Hamas, which are supported by Israels true ememies Iran and Syria.
Remember the line in the movie "the Godfather" when Pacino said, "my true enemy hasn't reveilled his face yet". Iran and Syria are the real enemy, while Hamas and Hezbollah are their puppets. Lebanon is just caught up in the middle.

1. The Lebanese didn't live up to their part of the agreement to disarm Hizbullah in exchange for israel with drawing from Lebanon a few years back.
2. Hizbullah is a major factor in the Lebanese government
3. The government didn't keep a close rein on Hizbullah and they got out of control..
Outside of that not a damn thing.

They let a gang of thugs use their country as a launching pad.
Now the thugs and the launching pads are getting remodeled ,
just like they were remodeling parts of Isreal.
Even the U.N. wants an end to Hezbulla.
