I found my thrill… On Blueberry Hill

This was the big question in October of 1956 when that classic was released, but it appears that it was only a figment of over-active teenage imaginations. In "The Story of Rock" by Carl Belz, Antione himself addressed that question and said that he had NO intention of singing about a girl named "Blueberry Hill" but he admitted that as a kid he heard a joke that gave him the idea for the double entrende. "A man is conducting a survey about what kids likes to play with in the bathtub. The first little boy interviewed is asked his name, 'Johnnie' he responds. 'Johnnie, what do you play with in the bathtub?' He thinks and responds, 'Bubbles.' This same answer is given by three other interviewees until finally a young girl answer the next door. When asked her name she responds, 'Bubbles.'"

But he assured Carl Belz that the double entrende was purely an afterthought and was never intentionally written into the song. He also talks about that same rumor in Nick Cohen's great book, "Rock from the Beginning."

Maybe he was wearing a blue shirt, and tried to look down and see his feet, and got inspired when he couldn't. But then his 'thrill' would have been UNDER Blueberry Hill.

Are you thinking of Benny Hill? He was a thrill, and so were those British babes running around in tight fitting halter tops. That show was a hoot when I was in college. I saw the show many years time delayed, but still it was ahead of its time. You ask interesting questions. What happened to the beavers? Did you have a falling out? Is there another aquatic rodent in your life?

"...on blueberry hill...when I found you"

I think he's singing about making it with a woman on blueberry hill...because he sings about the moon and willow trees. Also he's yearning for her since she is gone.
