They Made Two! Bastards!

That Flight Movie called United 93 & now the new WTC movie. I will not watch either one. CNN showed me everything that I would ever care to witness.

Well it depends on perspective here. In some cases your right people will profit from the endeavour. But they did on movies about world war 2 and Millions of people lost their lives. Schnindlers list was a moving movie that showed the death camps that the jews suffered in - we should never forget that.

But if it is done right then it also becomes a record of what happened . It allows us to remember what did occur. Yes it was a terrible day. But we should not forget that. We should remember the everyday people that were going about their normal days with the freedom we enjoy. We should also remember the emergency services people that not only died in the buildings but the ones that worked after the collaspe. And the everyday folks around the work that were outraged by the whole event.

Yes profits on such an event are not good thing.. but if it stirs up the memories of everyday folks so that we never allow it to happen again maybe its a small price to pay. In the end the freedoms we fight for allow such actions.

Yeah Oliver Stone is directing it and it's about some police officers that get trapped in the rubble of the building. Don't like Oliver Stone so I will not see this movie. I wish more people would remember 9/11.

I totally agree. It still seems surreal to me and I can watch it on TV without bursting into tears. I could never and would never watch that again. Why would someone make a movie out of something so horrific? Anything for the mighty dollar.

And what about Pearl Harbor, The Alamo, Gettysburg?

These were all low points in Americna history, but they are part of us.

You don't have to watch, but Hollywood has done far worse.

It was a horrible day to experience.
I don't think I want to sit through it all over again in the cinema.
Shame, shame, shame, Hollywood, you b@stards.
