Your period seems like an odd thing for her to think you're lying about. It seems like she's trying to pick a fight, or it's a cover for something else that's bothering her. Do you want to get to the bottom of it? Sit down with her, face-to-face, and ask her what's really going on. Ask in a caring way, and hopefully she won't be defensive, but will open up instead. If you're really bff, you'll be able to tell a lot by her body language too.
If she clams up, doesn't want to talk, and continues to be mean to you, just leave her alone! Do things with other people.

Doesn't sound like a best friend to me sorry might be time to look for some nicer friends. besides what does she want you to do prove it!grosse! Maybe she is a bit jealous of the fact that you have yours before her. Tell her to stop acting so stupid and grow up.

Maybe you should pull out the tampon and rub it in her face if she don't believe you. Better yet rub it her face when she is sleeping and just leave it. She would really believe you then.
