It all depends on your height and body type, but I would recomend a sari coz thats feminine and looks really indian and beautiful. You should find a colour that compliments your skin tone, one with a lot of stone and sequin work, as that kind of glamour is in now.
Team your sari with a skimpy blouse like a halter or tube. You should also buy matching indian jewelry like heavy bangles and a choker or big earings. A good salon should help you dress up your sari, hair and make up just fine.
Oh and you can visit Seasonsindia.com for your sari theyv got a great selection of bridal wear.
Have fun!

Check with your cousins or family members over there in India...you can also review Indian web-sites that have fashion as well as apparel-focused sections...
What about the Indian stores in and around ur area of residence, chk them out too....and also whats showing up in Hindi movies.
You can also contact NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology) and see what suggestions they might have... (http://www.niftindia.com/index.htm)
Or to be original, nothing better than designing ur own ward-robe, with ingenuity of ur own as well as resources from web and other locations...hey u never know u...ur ward-robe might become such a hit that you can start ur own fashion line...:-))
BTW, hope u have a gr8 time...enjoy the wedding!
