An event or an experience that bring's you close to death.
I was in a near-fatal car accident when I was 17.
It's strange how these kind of experiences change your perspective on life. Make you a lot more grateful for what you've got.
The key thing to remember is they're NEAR death experiences. Meaning you made it through and, in my case at least, became a stronger person because of it, however traumatic it was or whatever damage may have been done

near death experience has 2 meanings.one is the experience having 4 a short time b4 death n the other one is the experiences which r terrible or closely resembles like death but actually its not death.

it is a time when you are between state of living or life and state of death. many claims that it has changed their life style after the experince NDE. it usually happens to people who are car accident or people who are sugery .
