yeah there's still this problem...and many people are having this problem as there are so many questions about it...have a look at the other questions!

I am having this same problem. However, if when I first log in, I have 4 messages, it shows I have 4 messages all day, no matter how many times I check them or log out and back in!

Yahoo has sucked hard lately. In fact, the new home page is the pits. I haven't gotten a new email alert in days, so I went in to check just because and had like 100 emails in there.

Same here - I have "4 new messages" showing all the time. I don't like this new yahoo page.
