I would go for the 1 million, so I could make more people happy and teach them how to try and stay that way and then they could help spread the word and you could have millions upon millions happy. But if all I could do was to make one person happy that would be a great gift, and I would be satisfied.

I choose to make 1 million people happy because I have reached more people in this way with happiness being the operative word. More happy people makes for a happier world. No one needs to be exceedingly happy, just happy will do.

i would choose to make 5 hundred people exceedingly happy because happiness is meant to be enjoyed to the fullest. when u make 1 million people partially happy,u really dont make them happy, u just think that u have made them so.BUT if u make half a million people very happy, that is an achievement

I would make 1 million people happy because at least those five hundred thousand extra people would experience some degree of happiness!

1 million, then I wouldn't feel guilty about the other 500,000 that I left to rot in sadness.
