Well one tough question to answer. Well If you want to know about the best batsman in the world in the current era it cannot be one. The list would include Tendulkar,Lara,Dravid,pointing. These players have proved there class in this era. But players who have proved their class are numerous in the yest er years. Names like Bradman, gavaskar,vivan richards,..... many more are judged based on their record and skill exhibited in their era. Choosing a single person as a best person is tough and naming one would be unfair to the others. Well Bradman was a person of a different class and tendulkar is a person of a differnt class comparing them will be like comparing a orange and a apple and deciding which is the best. Well if you picked orange you like it for some reason and if you picked apple for some reason but they are fruits of the different kind. Like wise stating a particular batsman as the best will be improper as bradman created the brand Don bradman and Tendulkar created the brand Sachin Tendulkar. Thus each batsman remembered for a particular character will be a best batsman.

y its none other than Rahul Dravid . after Don Bradman its rahul dravid with the next highest average and moreover hes got the credit of being played the highest no. of test matches without a break in between.as a captain too,he never lost his batting techniques,even with all those stress.so DRAVID IS THE BEST.

Guess it is Brian Lara or Ricky Ponting - they can adopt to any countries or wickets condition - Sachin does not play that well in certain parts of the world
