Monogamy is just not supported by the animal kingdom. I am sorry to say, but the vast majority of animals are not monogamous. Man was not monogamous until recent history. It is not in our nature. It might not even be in the best interest of our species. I'd also venture to say that the vast majority of men only stay monogamous due to society pressures and not because they really want to.

Can men stay faithful? Sure. Do they all stay faithful? No. However the same can be said about women, so get down off the soapbox, and read some posts here, you can see that cheating is an equal opportunity sport.

I am 32 years old. I have always been faithful. I was married for 12 years and never once thought about cheating. I think cheaters have a low self-esteem. That cant hold there self's back. They always want something different. Being with the same person freaks them out. Once they get into a routine then they are ready for something new. They just don't know how to keep the spark alive.

For some monogomy is very difficult, and for some it's very easy. We are all able to be monogomus, it's just harder for some of us than it is for others.
