You ask a basic short question. Then you add to the DETAILS section of the question to extend your question. You dont need to fit your entire question into the question. You can add detail if you have a lot more to say.

Click on ASK then in the narrow field, you ask a basic question. It needs to be under 110 characters.

Then in the ADD DETAILS (optional) section, you can add up to 1000 characters.

It depends on your question.However,you just write a range for the question.If to long,summarise it and add the details to the details box.

don't get to carried away with long questions. most people will ignore them and move on to the next question.
