where do i begin?
got on the bus one day with a load of change for bus fare. it took a while to put it in the change machine, much to the drivers awe. he turned to me and said "jesus, how long were you savin' up for this?!?"
in an attempt to not seem like an excited fan to a famous musician, the first words i said to them when introduced were: "i'm sorry, i don't listen to your music" they laughed, but my friends were a bit shocked.......
one to try actually is to say in an awkward silence: "i love awkward silences!" it makes them even MORE awkward! great fun!!

Well, one time when I was in middle school, our neighbor had an older sister in high school - we went to the type of high school where pranks were pulled on the underclassmen, and they got really bad too! So, there were all kinds of people coming - high schoolers! (Ahh) We were kind of nervous but excited at the same time - but the party got boring really soon cause people were interested in doing things we were so not into - and so my sister told me to come stand on a ledge with her on the other side of the wall, (we were on the 2nd floor.) I said, "okay." Little did I know that if you stepped a bit off that ledge, you'd fall right through - and that's exactly what I did - I fell through the roof on the side of the house, but thankfully, I landed on some furniture underneath - and I only scratched a small place on my back. Everyone was laughing - and I was so embarrassed - but then my neighbors parents called me in a couple of days later and said, "So we see you had a good time. How about some money to pay for the damage?" Lol, but they were just kidding - I mean, I was only like 13 or something!

I was walking in the park with my headphones on and music going and at the same time working on a small wooden sculpture when a woman walked up to me and said something which I didn't hear because of the headphones. I assumed she had asked me about the sculpture so I started telling her about it. Her kids joined her and they all listened patiently for a few minutes while I went into great detail about the wood etc. Finally I shut up and she said "Do you have a light?" I said no, she walked away, and her kids stood there staring at me like I was crazy, which is how I felt.

After all I've been through, I'd have cracked if it wasn't for my sense of humor.
