RPG games would be the best for making films out of:

Final Fantasy X would be good. I have completed it and I am extremely good at at having fully upgraded all celestial weapons which some of the sigils were a nightmare to get hold of for example getting a time of 0.00 seconds on catcher chocobo race even took me God knows how long to do. I have also beaten all dark aeons plus Penance and every monster the arena could throw at me including all area, species, original and Nemesis. I also tend to beat the crap out of the other teams in blitzball which included a 15 - 0 victory in a tournament final vs Kilika Beasts.

They could forget that there ever was a Resident Evil film and start over fresh. They should base it on the first game (preferably the Gamecube version).

Metal Gear Solid would be unbelievably awesome! But I don't think any of these modern actors could live up to the role of Solid Snake. Kurt Russell could (after all, Solid Snake is based entirely on Kurt's character in Escape From New York) but he's getting on a bit. Maybe if they did it in CGI and kept the voice cast from the games ie David Hayter as Snake etc.

Devil May Cry would be great but there is a huge chance that the studio would screw it up.

Deus Ex is another one. The story line would transfer really well from video game to the big screen. It wouldn't be that hard to make either.

Maybe a film version of Resident Evil 4?

blackjaguar- Hitman and Killzone would f****** rule!

None would really unless you did a 6-9 hour miniseries, as most games are that length or longer so you would lose a great chunk of the story.

I'd personally like to see Prey put into some form of movie as the story in that game was better than most movies out in the last few years.

I would make Final Fantasy X into a movie, considering it has an amazing storyline and sucks you right in. I also believe that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time would make a great three part movie(1st is his childhood and getting the Master Sword, 2nd is learning what has happened to Hyrule while he was in slumber and all the way up to beating Beneath the Well, and the 3rd will show everything up to beating Ganon). Sonic Adventure 2 Battle would make a sweet movie in my opinion as well. And the Jak series would make a great trilogy, and I would definitely see them.

They've already made a Mario movie, and it wasn't very good. Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children rocked. Halo will be coming out in '07. I'd like to see an Elder Scrolls movie, and also Prince of Persia would be good.

I would have said Silent Hill but in true holywood style they had to mess with the story. Why oh why can they not just accept games into movies work but you need to stick to the original story, dont fiddle!!!

Apart from that I would say Half Life.... IF THEY STICK TO THE STORY!!!!

The only video game worthy of a high-budget movie is God of War. And, I mean high budget like Spiderman, Lord of the Rings, X-Men. If or when it does become a movie, they are going to have to do it right, and really stick to it. That game is one of, if not, the best adventure/action game on any gaming system.
